Today’s labor market is becoming a dynamic environment, where the world continuously demands new competencies and skills. The way in which knowledge can be acquired and competences are built has changed. Acquiring knowledge was previously only possible at educational institutions and acknowledged with a degree as proof of competence. 

Now, the world’s knowledge is accessible for everyone through the internet. The world is shifting more and more towards an environment where competence is key, rather than a degree. Are diplomas a waste of time? No! But the way you can prove, manage and utilize your competence needs an upgrade. 

Distinguish

Competence as a standard aims to be an added value in both the real and digital world.

As soon as someone possesses the Competence their added value is immediately recognizable and other people can give a recommendation on the specific Competence. To write a recommendation a fee needs to be paid, which can be seen as the PoS mechanism of recommendations.

The money that was paid to acquire the competence and for people to give the recommendations will go straight to the community. Owning your most valuable competence can be seen as an investment in yourself and your community.

Community

There will be several communities where each community consists of people with the same competencies and will be run as a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).

The revenue that comes from purchasing a competence or a recommendation will be used by and for the community. You can think of organizing real life or digital events where your competence is an access key to attend the event and connect with like minded people or people with other competences to complement each other and work together. But also by using the revenue to create teaching materials and courses for the community members. The possibilities and the added value of the communities are endless.

I’ve always had a knack for solving problems and I feel that software does just that. I chose a career in software development because I find satisfaction in helping consumers, companies, and organizations find the solutions they need.

I first learned how to use JavaScript, CSS, and HTML in college. But as part of some project, I started learning how to use Python and C++ . I found the C++ language to be the most flexible. In fact, it was the primary building block for the software i have developed for my customers.

I work best in a team and am especially interested in work related to the crypto industry and the stock exchange. This is where I can add the most value and like to talk to potential customers to discuss possibilities for collaboration.

What is a DAO?

In more detail, a DAO is a blockchain-based organization that is governed by a set of rules encoded in smart contracts. It allows members to make decisions through a decentralized voting system, where each member has a voting right based on their stake in the organization. This means that decisions are made transparently and democratically, without the need for a central authority or middleman.

In our project, we believe that a DAO will help us to achieve our goal of creating a fair and inclusive labor market, as it will allow our community to take an active role in the decision-making process. We want our project to be driven by the people who use it, and a DAO will help us achieve that vision.

What is the role of the community in this project?

The DAO will enable community members to participate in the decision-making process, ensuring that the project is decentralized and autonomous. Our goal is that eventually, in a couple of years, the community will take over the project completely, making it a truly community-owned and run initiative. What distinguishes the "NFT Collector" competence from the other competences in your project?

The first competence, “NFT Collector,” is a limited edition NFT designed to support the project and give early contributors the opportunity to benefit from the success of the project. We want to limit the number of “NFT Collector” NFTs to create scarcity and increase their value over time.

The other competences, unlike the “NFT Collector” NFT, will not be limited and will have an intrinsic value for the owner. We believe that in the long term, the value of these competences will be much greater than simply trading them for a quick profit

Which environment do you think is most suitable for the project to thrive in?

We believe that there is an added value for our project in every world where people are active and engaged. From the traditional web 0 and web 1, to the more interactive web 2 and the upcoming metaverse of web 3. Our project is designed to be versatile and accessible to everyone, regardless of their preferred platform. By engaging with the project in multiple worlds, participants can help create a vibrant and diverse ecosystem, which will benefit the project as a whole.
